Malaysia – SIRIM Type Application
According to the 'SQASI/CMCS/1/15' notification by Malaysia authority, SIRIM (Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia), all type approval applicators for GSM/3G/UMTS equipment should file SAR test report aside from the originally requested RF, EMC and LVD test reports starting from November 2, 2011. For Land Mobile Radio and Amateur Radio Equipment, the Radiation Hazard Test Report should be additionally submitted.
